Old Stone House
Built in 1795, the Old Stone House is the oldest building in Monongalia County. Since being erected, it has acted as a tavern, a pottery studio, a leather tannery, a church, a tailor shop and a home. Currently the Old Stone House is a gift shop, allowing visitors to take in the heritage building as they looking at unique gifts. Much of the proceeds go back to the upkeep on the house.
